This is an exciting opportunity to join the development team of the business unit’s core Enterprise taxi dispatch applications. We are seeking a talented Junior Software Developer with Unix experience to join us in our Richmond office to participate in developing and maintaining our server side dispatching projects.

You must be a self-starter and a quick learner besides having a good knowledge of Java, C++, C and SQL. Previous experience with relational databases is a definite asset.
Preferred Skills: Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or related discipline
• 1 year of relevant experience
• Unix development experience
• Proficiency in C, C++, Java and SQL
• Unix shell programming experience
• Understanding of OO techniques
• Strong analytical mindset with an attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong team player with a good work ethic
• Experience with JavaScript and RDBMS would be a definite asset
